A POC will run on battery, so while you are going thru security you can use your battery. All POCs have AC for home, and DC adapter for use in the car. There are also adapters on some POCs for the airline. Airlines have a power adapter in the armrest of the plane. A personal computer has at least one internal battery and has options to add external or extra batteries. If you have 2-3 batteries, you can go all day without the need to recharge. I recommend charging your batteries at every opportunity; plug in the unit while driving to the airport, plug it in when you get through security and are waiting at the gate, it will charge the batteries while you use it. You are essentially going from a power source to a power source.

See how easy it is to travel with a POC!

The Federal Aviation Administration has approved portable oxygen concentrator models for use aboard airplanes.
